Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Palo Alto. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Palo Alto is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Palo Alto is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The cakes look beautiful. The texture of the crêpe cake was perfect and I appreciated it was only lightly sweet. The pistachio one had almost no taste though, which was disappointing. I understand they use real pistachios, still, I was expecting a cake as tasteful as it was beautiful. Also, the butter croissant was tasteful but not flaky, which is more common around here, but the bakery being high end, I was hoping for a pâte feuilletée version. It's great to have a second pastry shop in the mall though, so I will be giving it another try.

Anton makes the most delicious durian crepe cake I’ve ever had. I was amazed by how much durian is packed into every layer. Just one slice was enough to satisfy my cravings. I also tried the Durian Panna Cotta and it was also very good. It wasnt overly sweet and there was a generous amount of durian. Seriously, addicting!

Absolute Perfection! The Best Crepe Cake I've Ever HadI finally splurged on the Anton Hokkaido Milk Mille Crepe Cake, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. This isn't just dessert; it's a culinary experience. From the moment I opened the box, the presentation was stunning--the layers are incredibly neat and uniform. But the taste is where this cake truly shines. The crepes themselves are paper-thin and delicate. They aren't gummy or heavy like some others I've tried. The star, however, is the Hokkaido Milk pastry cream. It is unbelievably rich yet light, airy, and silky smooth. The distinct flavor of Hokkaido milk makes it sweet enough to feel decadent but so perfectly balanced that it's never cloying or overwhelming. It quite literally melts in your mouth with every bite. It's clear that Anton uses high-quality ingredients and incredible craftsmanship. If you are looking for a show-stopping, elegant, and genuinely delicious dessert for a special occasion (or just for yourself!), this is a must-try. I highly, highly recommend it and will absolutely be ordering another one soon!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’m not one to write public reviews — ever. But Anton’s patisserie boutique at Stanford is truly something special. The staff is always so welcoming, and the desserts are unforgettable — delicious in every bite, with so many choices you’ll want to go back again and again. 💫What makes it even more meaningful is Anthony’s generosity and his support for the community and local nonprofits. Truly a gem, just like his desserts. Thank you! 💎

I've had my share of mille crepes, but nothing compares to the ones at Anton Patisserie. I tried both the Hokkaido Milk and the Black Sesame, and they were a revelation. The cake achieves a perfect balance—it's incredibly moist between each delicate layer of crepe, and the sweetness is so subtle it almost feels refreshing. This is exactly what I've been searching for in a dessert. If you think Lady M is the standard, prepare to be amazed. Anton Patisserie has set a new bar for what a mille crepe should be.
